Lead Ruby on Rails Developer
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Ruby Developer to join our team, working on an exciting project that aims to revolutionize the way people interact with technology. As a Lead Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities. responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing new features and functionalities for the project
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and business analysts, to identify and resolve issues and ensure project success
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality control of code deliverables to meet the highest standards
- Maintain and improve existing codebase, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your expertise in Ruby programming and related technologies
- Experience leading a team of developers, showcasing your ability to manage and mentor team members effectively
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Proficiency in Git, Github, and other version control tools
- Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- AWS familiarity
- Proficiency in designing software services
- Experience building and maintaining software services that serve 100+ transactions per second
