We are currently hiring a remote Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our team.

Our client is a global leader in the fashion industry, and they are looking for a talented developer to extend existing functionality and introduce new features in SAP S/4HANA. As the Lead SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality code for our client's SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules.

responsibilities

Design, develop, and test high-quality code for SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules in SAP S/4HANA
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
Collaborate with architects and other team members to ensure that solutions meet design and architecture standards
Perform code reviews to ensure that code is maintainable, scalable, and of high quality
Ensure that development activities are completed on time and within budget
Ensure that the development team follows coding standards and best practices

requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with proven experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules
Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
Expertise in ABAP Core and strong adherence to Clean Code principles and TDD
Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical designs
Expertise in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs and SAP systems
Proficient in SAP S/4HANA development, including custom development and extensions
Experience in integrating SAP modules with non-SAP systems using various integration technologies
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
