Lead SAP ABAP Developer
We are seeking a highly-skilled Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our team remotely.
As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex SAP solutions for our customer, a leading provider of business support solutions for the communications industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project in the telecommunications domain, using the latest technologies and industry best practices.
responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality ABAP applications, following industry best practices and design patterns
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and guidelines, including code review and quality control processes
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other development teams
requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, demonstrating expertise in ABAP Core, ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP), SAP Fiori, and Core Data Services
- 1+ years of experience leading a team of developers, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in working with BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) in SAP S/4HANA
- Proven experience in the design and development of complex ABAP applications
- Excellent knowledge of SAP development tools and technologies, including Eclipse, SAP Web IDE, and SAP HANA Studio
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience in writing and debugging ABAP programs, including enhancing standard SAP functionality
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience in integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, using SAP Process Integration (PI) or SAP Cloud Integration (SCI)
