Middle C++ Developer
We are looking for a Middle C++ Developer to join our remote team.
This role involves working on a project for a leading enterprise networking appliance company. You will have hands-on experience in working on the platform side, specifically in networking security products, preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall products.
As a C++ developer, you will be responsible for Linux user-space expertise, network programming, and Enterprise Linux experience.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain C++ code for networking security products, preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as QA, DevOps, and Product Management to deliver quality products
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and design
- Implement preliminary security hardening roadmap, such as CentOS 7.9 to Oracle 9 migration, upgrading Kernel to Oracle Linux 5.14 Kernel, and converting 32-bit to 64-bit code
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in C++ development, preferably in networking security products
- Expertise in Linux user-space, network programming (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec), and Enterprise Linux experience
- Experience in CentOS 7.9 to Oracle 9 migration and upgrading kernel to Oracle Linux 5.14 Kernel
- Ability to convert 32-bit to 64-bit code and modernize compiler used for compilation application stack
- Thorough knowledge of Linux Bootloader experience and SE Linux
- Experience in protecting/ securing Factory Reset Partition to prevent tampering and re-doing key management and secure with TPM Chip
- Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with the team

- Proficiency in C programming, Python, and Perl
- Expertise in Linux Kernel/Linux OS Internals and SE Linux
