Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while ensuring adherence to software engineering concepts and methodologies.

responsibilities

Write high-quality, secure code that is modular, functional, and testable
Research alternative technical solutions for changing business needs
Manage the overall cloud architecture and investigate new technologies to help the platform evolve at the speed of business
Create solutions with a high level of innovation, cost-effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market
Develop an overall strategic technical plan and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps
Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing, and Performance Testing
Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs throughout the SDLC to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards

requirements

2+ years of experience in Java development
Strong background in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and PL/SQL
Proficiency in ReactJS and Amazon Web Services
Expertise in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility
Experience with cloud technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other cloud platform like AWS or Azure or GCP
Experience in delivering secure solutions in the Financial Services Sector
Strong communication and collaboration skills, and organizational skills
Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

nice to have

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
Experience with Sonar integration
