Middle Java Developer for an Insurance Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Java Developer to join the global team.

The customer is a leading wholesale provider of reinsurance, insurance, and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer. Dealing direct and working through brokers, its global client base consists of insurance companies, mid-to-large-sized corporations, and public sector clients.

responsibilities
  • Translate business and UX requirements into interactive and responsive mobile friendly web pages
    • Build intuitive pages based on web standards and best practices for scalability and accessibility
      • Integration development using Dell Boomi platform
        requirements
        • 2+ years of experience with Java
          • Experience with HTML/CSS JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular 6+, jQuery, NodeJS, Grunt / GulP
            • Experience with Spring MVC
              • Good knowledge of REST APIs and API Authentication mechanisms
                • Good knowledge of Postman for testing APIs
                  • Knowledge of basic database concepts and SQL skills
                    • Comfortable with using GIT for source control
                      • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
                        • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
                          nice to have
                          • Experience developing web apps in the Microsoft Azure cloud
