Middle Java Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a self-motivated remote Middle Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java, Full Stack development, AWS, and React. You will be responsible for writing clean, readable, and reusable code, as well as participating in daily standups, backlog refinements, review, and retrospective sessions. Additionally, you will join a remote, distributed team environment and participate in on-call rotation and pager duty.

responsibilities
  • Write clean, readable, and reusable code
  • Develop backend application, REST API as well as write and optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL
  • Participate in daily standups, backlog refinements, review, and retrospective sessions
  • Plan, estimate, and help prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment
  • Communicate with other teams in Europe (CEST timezone) and America (PDT timezone)
requirements
  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • Strong backend experience in Node.JS or Java
  • Experience with AWS services: RDS, Lambda, EC2, S3
  • Excellent command of the English language both verbally and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • B2+ English level
