Middle JavaScript Software Engineer with TypeScript for an Entertainment Company

We are currently looking for a remote Middle JavaScript Software Engineer with TypeScript skills to join our team.

The customer is an entertainment company that specializes in the dubbing and distribution of East Asian media, most notably Japanese anime.

Please note that even though you are applying for this position, you may be offered other projects to join within EPAM Anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality and maintainable code
• Work in close cooperation with the team, team lead, SA and the customer
• Ensure timely development, own responsibility of your activities
• Provide timely and clear reporting of progress

Requirements

• 2+ years of related development experience
• TypeScript skills
• Experience in building multilayered applications - from architecture to implementation
• Understanding of separation of concerns and responsibilities of each layer and component
• Practical experience in writing high quality and testable code (not limited to unit testing)
• Clear understanding of cross-cutting concerns and implementation details
• Good English and communication skills
• JIRA experience
• Understanding of Kanban, Scrum methodologies
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
