Middle Jira Developer
We are looking for a Middle Jira Developer to join our remote team and work on exciting projects for our client, a leading provider of business information technologies. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including developing and maintaining asset management CMDB systems and integrating with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with professionals from a variety of fields.
responsibilities
- Work on core Atlassian modules, including designing, developing, debugging and deploying them
- Create and maintain integration with other systems
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support to the client as needed
- Ensure that code meets quality and security standards
- Work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Jira development and Asset Management/ITSM
requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Jira development
- Experience in Asset Management (CMDB) and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Experience in Atlassian modules and Jira/Jira plugins
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including SDLC, code reviews, unit testing and code optimization
- Experience in creating and modifying workflows, as well as designing and developing custom reports and dashboards
- Experience in complex data migration and integration with other systems, including LDAP integrations
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Glide script and the ability to create script-based assignment and approval rules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
