We are looking for an experienced Middle Manual Tester to join our remote team.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough functional testing of our software applications to ensure their quality and performance. As a Middle Manual Tester, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and report defects, analyze root causes, and provide recommendations for improvements. Your expertise in functional testing, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting will be crucial to the success of our software development projects.

  • Conduct comprehensive functional testing of software applications to ensure they meet requirements and specifications
  • Develop and execute effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and validate software functionality
  • Analyze and document defects, test results, and testing progress using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide recommendations for improvements to development teams
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to team discussions related to testing and quality assurance
  • 2+ years of work experience in functional testing of software applications
  • B2 English level
  • Proficient in using usability testing software such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, and Morae
  • Experience with survey design and analysis software like SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, and Google Forms
  • Strong data analysis skills using tools such as SPSS, R, and Excel
  • Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools like Slack, Asana, and JIRA
  • Knowledge of user research platforms such as UserTesting, UserZoom, and Optimal Workshop
  • Familiarity with eye-tracking software such as Tobii, EyeLink, and SMI
  • Experience with remote research tools like Zoom, Google Meet, and UserTesting Remote
  • Knowledge of virtual reality and augmented reality tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, and Vuforia
  • Proficiency in user experience design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Sketch
  • Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools like Axure, Balsamiq, and InVision
  • Knowledge of human-computer interaction and interaction design frameworks such as Nielsen Norman Group's heuristic evaluation, ISO 9241-11, and ISO 9241-210
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design tools like WAVE, Lighthouse, and Accessibility Insights
  • Knowledge of human factors engineering standards such as ISO 9241 and ANSI/HFES 100-2007
  • Experience with card sorting and tree testing tools like OptimalSort and Treejack
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing tools like Optimizely, VWO, and Google Optimize
  • Proficiency in web analytics software such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Piwik
