Middle Network Support Engineer
We are inviting applications for the position of Middle Network Support Engineer within our remote team.
The perfect fit for us would be an individual who can deliver continuous support for our global data network and act as a level 3 responder for all network-related tasks and troubleshooting. As a Middle Network Support Engineer, you will be tasked with the design, development, and deployment of LAN/WAN network infrastructure and be on-call for non-business hours support as per shift assignments. responsibilities
- Developing, designing, and deploying LAN/WAN network infrastructure
- Troubleshooting all LAN/WAN alerts and issues at the 3rd level
- Monitoring and reporting systems maintenance
- Documentation production and maintenance for all systems developed/deployed
- Configuration and installation of various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- System performance monitoring to ensure availability and reliability
- Monitoring of system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Security tools, policies, and procedures implementation in cooperation with the company’s security team
- Vendor liaison and other IT personnel for problem-resolution
requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting network infrastructure
- CCNP Certification along with a BA or B.S. Degree
- Experience with Firewalls, Infrastructure, LAN technologies, OSI and TCP/IP models, and WAN technologies
- Familiarity with Next Gen Firewalls like Cisco Firepower and firewall cloud services like Zscaler
- Comprehensive understanding of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with a minimum of an Upper-Intermediate level of competency
- Capability to participate and represent the team in incident and change management meetings
- Excellent communication skills for clear customer interaction

- Experience with SD-WAN like Silver Peak
- Proficiency in configuring/troubleshooting wireless like Cisco WLC
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
