Middle Node.js Developer
We are seeking a skilled Middle Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading company in the technology industry. As a Middle Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable backend services, implementing and designing production-grade software solutions using Node.js, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. You will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, such as AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

- Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of your code
- Participate in code reviews, offering feedback and suggestions to improve code quality and maintainability
- Contribute to the development of REST APIs and open API documentation, ensuring the usability and accessibility of your services
- Work with AWS, Docker, and/or Kubernetes to deploy and manage your services in the cloud
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing your knowledge with the team
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow and develop their skills
requirements
- 2+ years of experience in building scalable backend services, demonstrating your proficiency in designing and implementing production-grade software solutions using Node.js (Express, Koa)
- Experience with TypeScript, showcasing your expertise in concepts such as type inference, type erasure, generics, and namespaces
- Experience with SQL-DB (e.g., PostgreSQL) and optionally NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis), enabling you to work with different database technologies
- Practical experience with AWS, Docker, and/or Kubernetes, highlighting your knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization
- Extensive practical knowledge of unit and integration tests, allowing you to ensure the quality and reliability of your code
- Experience with microservices architecture, showcasing your understanding of distributed systems and scalability
- Proficient in using Git, designing and implementing REST APIs, open API documentation, test-driven development, and continuous integration
- Comfortable working with agile development methodologies such as Kanban, reflecting your ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- General understanding of concepts such as message queues, machine learning, and geospatial data, demonstrating your knowledge of emerging technologies
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with geospatial data and mapping technologies, such as Mapbox or Leaflet
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analysis frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
