Middle Node.js Developer
We are seeking a skilled Middle Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project in the healthcare industry. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and maintainable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Node.js development, experience with Amazon Web Services, and a passion for building innovative solutions.
responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable web applications using Node.js and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design software solutions that meet those needs
- Deploy and maintain applications on Amazon Web Services, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Design and implement efficient data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to software development best practices
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other developers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes
requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Node.js development, showcasing your ability to build scalable and maintainable web applications
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS, enabling you to design and deploy cloud-based applications
- Extensive knowledge of database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis, allowing you to design and implement efficient data models
- Experience with web frameworks such as Meteor, NestJS, Koa, and Express, showcasing your ability to develop robust and scalable web applications
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as React or Angular
