Middle Node.js Developer
We are looking for a remote Middle Node.js Developer to join our remote team and work on our latest project. The project involves developing a cloud-based solution with Node.js and TypeScript, deployed on Amazon Web Services. As a developer on this project, you will be responsible for developing scalable and efficient code, working closely with the project team, and communicating directly with the customer to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side code using Node.js and TypeScript
- Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and provide solutions
- Communicate directly with the customer to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests
- Deploy the application to Amazon Web Services and ensure scalability and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side code with the front-end
requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Node.js development
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and its concepts
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and deploying Node.js applications to the cloud
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
