Middle R Developer

We are looking for a remote Middle R Developer to join our team and work on an exciting project to define Spark R packages and integrate them into Databricks. In this role, you will work on implementing R models and R packages in Spark and optimizing the code. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code that meets the project's objectives and requirements.

Define and implement Spark R packages for the project
Integrate Spark R into Databricks and ensure smooth operation
Collaborate with other developers and data scientists to implement R models in Spark and optimize the code
Contribute to the design and development of high-quality code that meets the project's objectives and requirements
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
Document the code and provide technical support to other team members
Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in R and Spark development

requirements

At least 2 years of experience in R Language development, including implementation of R models and R packages
Expertise in Apache Spark and Databricks, with a deep understanding of their architecture and components
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
Experience with code optimization techniques to improve performance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency, both written and verbal
