Middle Ruby on Rails Developer
We are looking for a skilled Middle Ruby Developer to join our remote team, working on an exciting project that will revolutionize the way people interact with technology. As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Ruby programming language and other relevant technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets high standards of functionality, scalability, and performance. responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Ruby programming language and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software requirements and design solutions that meet business needs
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and consistency
- Test and debug software to ensure that it meets high standards of functionality, scalability, and performance
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and share your knowledge with the team
requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby programming, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming principles
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and other relevant databases, including data modeling and database design
- Proficiency in using Ruby on Rails and other relevant frameworks, showcasing your ability to develop scalable and maintainable applications
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

- BS in Computer Science
- AWS familiarity
- Proficiency in designing software services
- Experience building and maintaining software services that serve 100+ transactions per second
