Middle Ruby on Rails Developer
Our company is seeking a talented Middle Ruby Developer to join our remote team, working on an exciting project that involves building a scalable and reliable microservice architecture. As a Ruby Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, QA engineers, and product owners, to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth.
responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions using Ruby and related technologies
- Write efficient and effective tests using Rspec to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, QA engineers, and product owners, to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other developers and ensuring code quality and consistency
- Contribute to the design and implementation of microservice architecture patterns, ensuring scalability and reliability of the software system
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing technical support to other team members as needed
- Continuously improve your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Ruby development
requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your proficiency in building scalable and reliable software solutions
- Expertise in using Rspec for testing Ruby applications, showcasing your ability to write efficient and effective tests
- In-depth knowledge of microservice architecture patterns, highlighting your understanding of building scalable and reliable software systems
- Proficiency in using Git for version control, enabling you to collaborate effectively with other developers
- Experience in working with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, showcasing your ability to design and implement database schemas
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, reflecting your ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication with cross-functional teams
nice to have
- Experience in working with Python
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in working with SQL
