We are looking for a Senior Accessibility Consultant to work remotely and join our team of experts. Your role will involve providing consultancy services and support to our clients in the development of accessible digital products and services. You will be responsible for compiling Accessibility Compliance Reports and VPATs, and developing Accessibility Specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting workshops, providing training, and advocating for accessibility best practices and standards to stakeholders. As a Senior Accessibility Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the accessibility of digital products and services provided by our clients.

  • Provide Accessibility Consultancy services and support to clients, enhancing the accessibility of their digital products and services
  • Compile Accessibility Compliance Reports and VPATs, ensuring compliance with Accessibility Standards
  • Conduct workshops and provide training on Accessibility best practices and standards to stakeholders
  • Advocate for Accessibility best practices and standards to stakeholders, participating in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions
  • Develop Accessibility Specifications, including Accessibility Testing Approaches and Processes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of consultancy services and support to clients
  • Engage in continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accessibility Consulting or Accessibility Testing
  • Expertise in Accessibility Standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508
  • Understanding of accessibility in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies
  • Ability to develop Accessibility Specifications and assist with Accessibility Testing Approaches and Processes
  • Proficiency in using screen readers and other assistive technologies
  • Experience with Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) as a part of Accessibility Review
  • Experience with Accessibility Evaluation Tools
  • Excellent consultancy skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to stakeholders
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with clients and team members at a B2+ level

  • Experience with Accessibility Processing of Documents
