Senior Android Developer
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our remote team.
The project is focused on the development and support of customer Android native app which is considered one of the top apps in its sphere.
As a Senior Android Developer, you will be required to have extensive experience in Android development and be an expert in Java, App Components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows. You will work with a mix of local and remote resources, so leadership and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment are essential.
responsibilities
- Develop and support the customer Android native app
- Work on the development of next-generation applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Ensure that all app development is in line with customer requirements and industry standards
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that our apps remain cutting-edge
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the team
- Take the lead on projects when required
requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Mobile App Development
- Expertise in Android, App Components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows
- Strong knowledge of Java
- Good understanding of Android Design Patterns, Google's Design Guidelines, and Google Play Developer Program Policies
- Experience with networking, caching of local data, and multitasking on Android
- Familiarity with 3rd party libraries and services
- Knowledge and experience with Agile processes
- Leadership and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment, with a mix of local and remote resources
- Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with team members and stakeholders

- Development experience with other mobile platforms
- Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development skills
