Senior Automation Tester in .NET
Join our team as a remote Senior Automation Tester in .NET with extensive experience in Automated Testing in .NET, working with microservices, and distributed systems. Our client is a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the healthcare industry. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for web-based and mobile applications. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the optimization of features in a dynamic development environment.
responsibilities
- Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and other technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and frameworks for web-based and mobile applications using .NET Framework, C#, and JavaScript
- Identify and report defects and issues to development teams, prioritizing and tracking issues to resolution
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression test execution
- Conduct Performance-Scalability-Reliability (PSR) testing, user acceptance testing, and other types of testing as required
- Ensure product quality and adherence to standards throughout the software development lifecycle
- Provide feedback on product functionality, design, usability, and accessibility
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process and best practices
- Provide occasional after-hours test and/or deployment support
- Conduct technical research to identify new tools, technologies, and testing approaches
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, particularly of web-based & mobile applications
- Expertise in Automated Testing of web-based applications using .NET Framework, C#, and JavaScript
- Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL for designing, managing database schema, and understanding API design/development
- Expertise in Performance-Scalability-Reliability (PSR) testing, user acceptance testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to triage technical issues
- Experience with Cypress for cross-browser testing of web applications and mobile testing
- Experience with Python for test automation and scripting purposes
- Experience with scalability testing for designing and building scalable applications
- B2+ English level
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
nice to have
- Experience with Selenium and Appium would be a plus
- Experience with load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus
