Senior Azure Developer
Join our remote team as a Senior Azure Developer within a global leader in the IT industry. We are actively seeking a hands-on and deeply technical developer to collaborate closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
responsibilities
- Designing and developing new features using the Agile development process (Scrum)
- Prioritizing and ensuring high-quality standards at every stage of development
- Ensuring reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of systems
- Maintaining and troubleshooting code in large-scale, complex environments.
- Collaborating with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Driving the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Actively contributing to architectural and technical discussions
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud architecture, design, and implementation
- Expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem in mission-critical services with best practices
- Experience in Terraform/Helm deployment and configuration scripting language
- Familiarity with relational/NoSQL databases (Mongo and/or Postgres) for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and views
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline for version control, integration, and deployment
- Strong experience on BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Knowledge of IAM concepts including OIDC and OAuth2
- Experience in implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment
- At least 3 years of experience in agile delivery (Scrum, Spotify, SAFe)
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Helm is a plus
