Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Join our remote team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to help us build and secure our Azure cloud environments.
In this role, you will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud security best practices are implemented across our Azure infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the security of our cloud environments.
responsibilities
- Designing and implementing Azure cloud security solutions in an infrastructure-as-code approach
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as development and infrastructure to ensure security best practices are implemented across the Azure infrastructure
- Building and maintaining secure and compliant cloud environments
- Setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments to detect security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Implementing access management and security controls in cloud environments to ensure compliance with security standards
- Ensuring that cloud environments and applications meet security and compliance standards
- Providing guidance and support to other teams on cloud security best practices
- Staying up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and technologies
- Performing regular security assessments and audits on the cloud infrastructure
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud security processes and procedures
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering or similar roles
- Expertise in Azure cloud security, with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in an infrastructure-as-code approach
- Experience in implementing security controls for cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and access management
- Expertise in Git for version control and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
- Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
- Good knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
nice to have
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
