The IT Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and Syngenta’s business function using industry-standard analysis practices to assess and determine requirements, delivering data-driven recommendations

Engagement with business stakeholders and users is key to understand how data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value. They must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what is technologically feasible and functionally reasonable

Quickly establish strong working relationships with stakeholders, developing and adapting to ensure visibility, actively managing expectations, and open discussions

Lead BA best practice in Agile delivery methods and change management

Support the definition of the technology roadmap primarily acting as the ‘voice of the customer’

Develop and deliver workshop style meetings: User Feedback sessions as an example

Promote Digital and Agile ways of working, developing mindsets and behaviours

Be Customer-oriented, championing transparency across the wider team/product(s) community

3+ years of experience in Business Analysis

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, highly proficient in English oral and written

Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach

Extensive experience with building partnerships for analysis purposes

Excellent stakeholder engagement & management

Hands on experience with Agile (Scrum, Sprint, Kanban)

Experience with user story creation & mapping

Positive attitude and strong collaborative mindset

Highly proactive, rigorous, self-driven and actionable

Previous experience in the life science industry or an interest in agriculture technology desirable

Previous experience with BDD or similar
