Senior Cloud Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable, elastic microservice-based platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservice architecture and proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Bash scripting. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice-based platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and security of cloud-based solutions
- Manage Kubernetes to manage containerized applications
- Create and maintain scripts for automation and orchestration of cloud-based solutions
- Perform code review and ensure SOLID principles are implemented
- Conduct unit and system testing of application code and execute implementation activities
- Prepare technical documentation such as HLD and LLD based on architects' discussion
- Coordinate with other technical teams to integrate external data points into solutions with minimal impact
- Ensure code quality and coverage with SonarQube and integration with CI/CD pipeline
- Ensure compliance with PCI and Security Coding Standards
- Stay current on latest Azure technologies such as Service Bus Architecture Implementation, Docker-based solutions, Kubernetes, blue-green deployment strategy, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud-based solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or similar roles
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as Redis Cache, CDN, DB SaaS, and monitoring tools on Azure
- Proficient in using Kubernetes to manage containerized applications
- Advanced skills in Bash scripting
- Familiarity with Docker and Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Experience with Python.Core and Sonar for code quality and coverage analysis
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems
- Strong experience in Content Hub administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication protocol
- Familiarity with PCI and Security Coding Standards
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams and integrate external data points into solutions with minimal impact
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
- Advanced proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken for effective global collaboration (B2+)

- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with Git for version control
