Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a remote Senior Cloud Engineerto join our team. You will be responsible for setting up Azure cloud environments and collaborating with our teams to support cloud configuration. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist with .NET development tasks.

responsibilities
  • Setting up and configuring Azure cloud environments
  • Collaborating with  our teams to support cloud configuration
  • Assisting with .Net development tasks as needed
  • Configuring and managing Azure Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance
  • Setting up and managing Azure API Management to enable API access control, security, and monitoring
  • Defining and implementing Azure Cloud architecture including routing, ACL, subscriptions, Azure Blobstorage, API Management, and proxy
  • Developing infrastructure management scripts using Terraform and Helm
  • Identifying and resolving Azure Cloud performance bottlenecks
  • Collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Providing regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all Azure Cloud environments are secure, compliant, and meet regulatory requirements
requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Azure development or related field
  • Expertise in Azure Containers, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management, Terraform, Helm, and Docker
  • Experience with production-ready Azure Kubernetes cluster configuration
  • Ability to configure Azure Cloud architecture including routing, ACL, subscriptions, Azure Blobstorage, API Management, and proxy
  • Excellent communication and team-player skills to effectively collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .Net 5 (including .Net core)
  • Experience with Linux containers using Docker
  • Proficiency in Powershell for scripting
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) including releases, pipelines, agent pool, and yml templates
  • Excellent upper-intermediate English communication skills for effective global collaboration
nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with other scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with .Net Core MVC and WebAPI frameworks
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
