Senior Cloud Java Developer

Join our remote team as a Senior Cloud Java Developer, playing a critical role in building and improving our core Java microservices infrastructure, using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will collaboratively work with the team and stakeholders to design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating innovative solutions and has experience with Java, Spring, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.

responsibilities

Designing and developing Java microservices infrastructure
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements
Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and production support
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Ensuring software scalability, reliability, and performance
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers
Actively participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
Mentoring and guiding junior developers
Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends

requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer, Java Developer, Kotlin Developer, or Backend DevOps Engineer, etc.
Deep expertise in Java 11 or higher, Kotlin, and Spring Framework for building scalable and high-performance applications
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Gitlab for version control, integration, and deployment
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud computing
Expertise in building and deploying Java microservices infrastructure
Experience with SQL databases for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and views
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture
Good communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
