Senior Database Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Database Engineer to join our global team.

The customer is an American investment management firm that serves institutional clients including pension funds, endowments, foundations, foreign governments, and central banks.

responsibilities
  • Build highly functional, beautiful, and intuitive technologies for these processes which ultimately drive, scale, and enable our investment processes
    • Act like an owner consistently holding a high bar for the quality of your code and are passionate about doing things the “right way”
      • Anticipate problems and complications, and formulate solutions to unblock the progress of the project
        • Act as an owner, assume responsibilities, and drive issues to resolution
          • React to a mission critical problem in an excellent way, and not sacrificing quality over speed
            requirements
            • 3+ years of experience as Database Engineer
              • Strong knowledge of Database Performance
                • Strong knowledge of MS SQL.SQL
                  • Strong knowledge of SQL
                    • Open-minded person
                      • Strong computer science fundamentals, hands on DBA experience with MS SQL and SQL performance optimization
                        • Dedicated
                          • Proactive
