We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and possess extensive experience in DevOps practices. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your expertise in Azure, along with other relevant technologies, will play a key role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our cloud-based systems.
responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage the cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated application deployment
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and availability issues
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development and release process
- Implement and maintain automated testing and quality assurance processes
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the DevOps team
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a DevOps professional with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and other automation tools
- Experience working with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus for infrastructure monitoring
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience in implementing pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- B2+ English level for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of additional monitoring and logging tools beyond Grafana and Prometheus
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in a cloud environment
- Relevant certifications in Azure or other cloud technologies
