Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft Azure and possess a deep understanding of DevOps practices and tools. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, as well as driving continuous improvement in our DevOps processes.
responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
- Write automation scripts using Ansible and PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize software delivery and release processes
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based applications and data
- Manage and provision cloud resources using Terraform to achieve infrastructure as code
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps workflow
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the DevOps team
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and scripting with PowerShell
- Familiarity with YAML pipeline configuration
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- B2+ English level for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
nice to have
- Additional experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Certification in Microsoft Azure or other relevant DevOps certifications
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures
