Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us in creating and maintaining a reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure for our fast-growing platform. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure as code using Terraform. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and performant. You will also be working closely with our development team to ensure that our infrastructure is supporting the needs of the business.
responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Ensure that our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and performant
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that our infrastructure is supporting the needs of the business
- Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and processes
- Identify and implement improvements to our infrastructure and processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Monitor and respond to alerts related to infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis on incidents
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Expertise in Terraform and experience with other infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Ruby and experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
nice to have
- Experience with serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Undertanding of creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI
