We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines to provision and operate client test and production environments. You will also provide systems support and stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling. responsibilities
  • Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools
  • Provision and operate client test and production environments, ensuring high availability and scalability
  • Provide systems support, including responding to monitoring alerts and addressing issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling, contributing to the improvement of our systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and optimize processes
  • Contribute to the development of automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement
requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services, demonstrating your expertise in cloud infrastructure and services
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby, enabling you to automate deployment and configuration processes
  • In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm for package management
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, showcasing your ability to design and manage infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and other AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Experience in designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, reflecting your analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with other infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Ansible
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Experience with serverless architectures and technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
