Senior DevOps Engineer
We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely and play a pivotal role in shaping the cutting-edge cloud platform.
As a key member of our dynamic team of engineers and architects, you'll contribute to the development and deployment of secure and scalable applications in the cloud, defining the future of cloud infrastructure.
responsibilities
- Create and deploy robust cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and Terraform, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize the deployment and operation of applications
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects, ensuring swift and dependable software delivery
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure using scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, guaranteeing the high availability and performance of critical systems
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, backup and restore procedures, and security measures
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, actively contributing to open-source projects and sharing knowledge within the team
requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency in Amazon Web Services, specializing in AWS Cloud Development Kit and Terraform
- Possess advanced Git and GitHub skills, including pull requests, branching, and merging
- Have a working knowledge of TypeScript and backend development using Node.js
- Exhibit experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and other container orchestration systems
- Familiarity with Amazon DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, showcasing expertise in database design, modeling, and optimization
- Proven experience with Python and scripting languages for automation and orchestration
- Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI
- Fluent in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Hands-on experience with CDK-TF, combining the strengths of AWS CDK with the flexibility of Terraform
- Prior involvement in Internally Developed Platforms
- Familiarity with alternative database systems like MongoDB or Cassandra
