Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us build and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as supporting our development teams in deploying and scaling their applications.
responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Automate the deployment and scaling of our applications using tools such as Ansible and Gitlab CI
- Monitor and improve the performance and availability of our systems using tools such as Grafana and Graylog
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable architectures for their applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Graylog
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Gitlab CI
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies, serverless architectures and microservices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Certifications in AWS or related fields
- Experience with other automation tools such as Puppet or Chef
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
