Senior DevOps Engineer with Python
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us build and maintain our cutting-edge infrastructure. Our client is a leading e-commerce company that serves millions of customers worldwide. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and Python. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our applications are deployed reliably and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-visibility project and make a real impact.
responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Python
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are deployed reliably and efficiently
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure, including patching and vulnerability management
- Respond to and resolve production incidents in a timely and efficient manner
- Continuously improve our infrastructure and processes, using metrics and feedback to drive decision-making
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field
- Experience with infrastructure as code development and maintenance, using tools such as Terraform
- Proficiency in Python, with experience using it to automate infrastructure tasks
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and ELK stack
