Senior DevOps Engineer with Ruby
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and take a lead role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure. As a member of our team, you will work to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure, while also contributing to the development of new features and services. Our company is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions, and we are committed to staying at the forefront of technology innovation.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code techniques
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of our services
- Design and implement security policies and procedures to protect our infrastructure and data
- Automate and streamline our infrastructure and operations processes
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to our infrastructure and services
- Lead and mentor junior members of the DevOps team
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance, using tools such as Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools
- Expertise in Ruby scripting language
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency
nice to have
- Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack
- Familiarity with serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda
