We are looking for a remote Senior Full-stack Software Engineer (JavaScript) to join our team

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, developing, and documenting projects that interact with other internal and external systems, utilizing your deep understanding of modern JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js. As part of a highly collaborative Agile/SCRUM environment, you will collaborate with other teams to ensure knowledge sharing and contribute to code and architecture reviews.

responsibilities
  • Design, implement, develop, and document projects that interact with other internal and external systems
  • Recommend, evaluate, and make decisions on technology
  • Develop high-quality, scalable, cloud-based, reliable, and reusable solutions
  • Collaborate in a highly collaborative Agile/SCRUM environment, interacting and communicating across teams to ensure sharing of knowledge
  • Evangelize for new technologies, architectures, and processes that can better improve our quality of deliverables
  • Participate in code and architecture reviews within and between teams
  • Use the AWS ecosystem of services to develop and deliver business value
  • Contribute to an environment and culture of integrity, trust, feedback, and continuous improvement
requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Expertise in modern JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js
  • Proficiency with React and affiliated front-end technologies (Redux, Webpack)
  • Experience in a microservice-oriented environment
  • NoSQL experience (preferably AWS DynamoDB)
  • Serverless technology architecture, development, and delivery experience (preferably using AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EventBridge)
  • DevOps infrastructure-as-code experience (preferably AWS CDK, AWS SAM)
  • Strong knowledge of common design patterns and principles
  • Cloud-based security experience (preferably AWS services such as AWS Cognito, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS GuardDuty)
  • Strong experience with Git and common Git workflows (such as GitFlow)
  • Deep knowledge of TDD and BDD
  • B2+ English level proficiency for effective communication

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines
  • Experience with feature flags
