Senior Functional Tester

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Functional Tester to join our global team.

The customer is a Canadian retail company which operates in the automotive, hardware, sports, leisure and housewares sectors. It is a family of businesses that includes a retail segment, a financial services division and CT REIT.

responsibilities
  • Validate functional analysis documentation and UI designs
    • Produce high quality test cases as part of sprint testing
      • Execute in-sprint, integration and regression testing
        • Ensure key issues detected are appropriately documented, flagged, communicated and handed over to the appropriate function to resolve in a timely manner
          requirements
          • 3+ years of experience in Functional Testing
            • Experience with testing web, mobile, back-end services (REST APIs)
              • Experience in functional, integration, regression, E2E testing
                • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, qTest
                  • Ability to work with the other team members (especially development team) to detect, analyze and correct software bugs
                    • Analytical mindset
