Senior GCP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior GCP Engineer to support different activities as part of Client's team, a Cloud transformation project with GCP in the Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will be working on a cloud transformation project with GCP in the Financial Services industry. The candidate will need to have an upper-intermediate level of English and be able to communicate with the customers on a daily basis. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in Cloud Eng GCP Networking and must have skills Google Cloud Platform.

responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC approach on GCP
  • Create CI/CD pipelines and automation with cloud-specific deployment models using GitHub Actions
  • Analyze and improve existing systems, services and infrastructure
  • Develop and integrate new functionality in close collaboration with the development team from Client side
  • Follow standards, best practices and guides
requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Eng GCP Networking
  • Must have skills in Google Cloud Platform and Cloud Eng GCP Networking
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with an English level of B2+
  • Preferably worked in financial services before
  • Decent knowledge and experience with required skills set
nice to have
  • Concept and automation of common changes managed centrally (LZ, FW, networks).
  • Hands-on complex networking (segregated, strict rules & policies, several zones etc.), and IAM (custom roles, service accounts)
  • Terraform (Enterprise)
  • CI/CD (Github Enterprise, jFrog Artifactory, Artifact Registry, TFE etc.)
  • Knowledge of GKE / Istio (incl. IAM and networking), VPC SC, IAM conditions etc.
  • Capacity management/reservations/backups
  • Certificates management, DNS (hybrid, on prem), and processes for support in Enterprise (complexity, different entities under different regulation, policies, segregation of duties, responsiveness, unclear/changing RACIs etc.)
