Senior Java Cloud Developer

We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Java Cloud Developer to become part of our remote team. Our company is at the forefront of technology, specializing in providing cloud-based solutions. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled developer with profound expertise in Java and cloud technologies to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions utilizing the Agile development process
  • Uphold high-quality standards across all stages of development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot code in large-scale, complex environments
  • Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them enhance their skills and advance their careers
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Scala, or Go languages for developing scalable and high-performance applications
  • Experience with AWS for cloud-based infrastructure and application management
  • Expertise in Clean Code principles for writing maintainable and efficient code
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for designing and managing database schema and queries
  • Expertise in building Java Microservices using Spring Framework
  • Deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms for efficient application development
  • Experience with API integration for building scalable and modular systems
  • Expertise in CI/CD for version control, integration, and deployment
  • System Design experience
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
