Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with commercial banking software solutions that touch millions of people's lives. As a Senior Java Developer, you will work on developing and maintaining our software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and quality. You will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers
- Ensure software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and usability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for software development
- Work in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies, to deliver software solutions on time and within budget
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, contributing to their professional development
- Proactively identify potential issues and provide solutions to mitigate risks
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Development, demonstrating proficiency in Java programming and its related technologies
- Proven experience in developing web applications using Angular or similar frameworks
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, and RDS
- Hands-on experience in Microservice Architecture Pattern and its related technologies
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience working with commercial banking software solutions
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
