Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a global leader in providing innovative solutions to business problems. In this role, you will apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, partnering continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on common goals. You will take ownership of the design and development of T&M applications, driving discussions with business users and delivering projects on time.

- Take ownership of the design and development of T&M applications, driving discussions with business users and delivering projects on time
- Design, analyze, develop, unit test (TDD), and regression automation (BDD) to deliver product backlog for large and complex projects
- Adopt and practice Agile methodologies, including but not limited to, story grooming, sprint planning, complexity analysis, stand-up calls, and sprint retrospectives
- Adhere to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management, and security policies
- Collaborate with global teams, communicating and resolving issues impacting development
- Participate in quality assurance, peer reviews, and code reviews
- Provide post-production application support
requirements
- A degree in Computer Science/IT or other related fields
- 3+ years of experience in Java Development and Spring boot, AWS and ReactJS showcasing your proficiency in developing large and complex projects
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, including story grooming, sprint planning, complexity analysis, stand-up calls, and sprint retrospectives
- Experience in Microservice Architecture Pattern and ReactJS, enabling you to create innovative solutions for business problems
- Experience in deploying applications in a containerized environment using docker/Kubernetes/PCF/Openshift/AWS, showcasing your proficiency in DevOps practices, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, allowing you to work effectively with stakeholders and team members
- A team player mindset and the ability to work in a global team setup, collaborating with product owners and business teams to develop, build and support applications
- A passion for development, with a strong understanding of the latest ongoing technologies in the industry
- Experience in contributing to open-source projects, showcasing your diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular
- Experience in contributing to industry events, attending developer and tech meetups
