Senior Java Developer (Algorithms and Data Structures)
We're scouting for a Senior Java Developer possessing expertise in AWS, coupled with a robust understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the creation and design of software solutions that are scalable and sustainable. Your expertise should span across various technology sectors such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go language along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role necessitates an alliance with a team of developers, testers, and various other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and generate solutions
- Creation and execution of sustainable, scalable software solutions
- Generation and maintenance of code using clean coding principles
- Undertaking code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Setup and maintenance of automated tests to validate quality of deliverables
- Participation in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Assurance of code delivery timeliness and quality
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with emphasis on Java
- Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go language
- Competence in both SQL and NoSQL tools and APIs and integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD procedures and tools
- Mastery in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach towards problem-solving
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for successful collaboration within remote teams
nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
