Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the healthcare industry. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications, working on a range of projects from new feature development to building new applications from scratch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, and Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Ensure that software solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure by working with Microsoft Azure
- Write clean and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs
- Participate in design and code reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Contribute to the development of software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating your expertise in developing scalable and robust software solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Pattern, highlighting your ability to design and develop complex applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and other Azure services, enabling you to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and their integration with frontend applications
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests, utilizing tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
