Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with Angular to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing user interfaces and middle-tier logic, adhering to industry standards and software best practice guidelines.
responsibilities
- Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand-up, iteration pre-planning and planning, and story tasking
- Write new software or modify existing software in accordance with Agile stories, ensuring that unit tests are written
- Develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to industry standards and software best practice guidelines
- Interact with the Version 1 Agile Project Management tool to access stories and acceptance tests, create and update development tasks, and accurately record work status and effort
- Enhance and create user interfaces and middle-tier logic for an Editorial tool used by internal TR attorney/editors, adding, updating, or removing information from an Oracle database
- Communicate effectively with TR developers, TR QED and EPAM QED staff, and TR attorney/editors to clarify requirements, answer questions, and resolve issues
- Provide clear and concise English communications through verbal, instant messenger, e-mail, and written documentation
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 8 and Spring Framework
- In-depth knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building complex web applications
- Experience with Hibernate, Oracle database, and Apache Tomcat, enabling you to create robust and scalable applications
- Strong understanding of XML, HTML, JSON, XSLT, and RESTful interfaces, allowing you to build efficient and effective APIs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
nice to have
- Experience with JQuery and JS + Angular 7, enabling you to work with legacy code and maintain older applications
- Knowledge of CSS, allowing you to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques, enabling you to create efficient and scalable applications.
