Senior Java Developer
Join our team as a Senior Java Developer, working with a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the healthcare industry. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our healthcare platform, utilizing your expertise in Java 8, Spring, and Microservice Architecture Pattern. You will work with a cross-functional team of developers, DevOps engineers, and architects to design and implement scalable and robust solutions. responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and robust microservices using Java 8, Spring, and Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software, utilizing DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Docker for containerization
- Implement and maintain Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to maintain code quality
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software solutions
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in software development processes and provide solutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Java 8 and Spring
- Expertise in Microservice Architecture Pattern and Spring Boot, with practical experience in building microservices
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, facilitating deployment and scaling of applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including deployment and management of cloud-based applications
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases, enabling efficient data storage and retrieval
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
nice to have
- Experience with other cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with other NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
