Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge SaaS platform with world-class technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with a distributed development team to continuously deliver solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities. You will work across the full stack from UI to end data points and be part of the design discussions and decisions. You will contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives with our technology teams. responsibilities
- Collaborate with a distributed development team to continuously deliver solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities
- Work across the full stack from UI to end data points and be part of the design discussions and decisions
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives with our technology teams
- Work with our DevOps and Architecture teams to move to a continuous deployment model
- Collaborate openly with the team on shared items of work and communicate well in a team-oriented environment across locations
- Share your knowledge and enjoy mentoring other team members
- Guide the technical direction of the team
- Develop in accordance with best software engineering practice, helping to define development standards for the team
requirements
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent working experience
- 3+ years of experience in application design and development in enterprise applications with Java, OOP, JEE stack/Spring, JMS, and Camel
- Experience with RESTful as an API design
- Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, Cognito, S3, and Cloudfront
- Experience in React js
- Good database application development experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git or other version control tools
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing
- Develop in accordance with best software engineering practice, helping to define development standards for the team
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – with the ability to communicate effectively with business partners and understand their requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting
- Experience with Apache Camel and ActiveMQ
- Experience with JMeter, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Webpack, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven
