Senior Java Developer

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our global team.

This position is a part of the new innovative program EPAM Anywhere, which allows working remotely in multidisciplinary teams on global projects that define the future – of technology, collaboration, and learning. Join us and make the best of two worlds: full-time employment and remote work.

responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other software engineers to design and implement our next-generation high availability, scalable Cloud platform
    • Drive key server-side technology stack and implementation decisions
      • Participation in team’s Agile Iteration/ Scrum Sprint process
        requirements
        • 3+ years of relevant work experience
          • Masters or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
            • Proficiency in Python, Golang
              • Domain expertise of Cloud infrastructure solutions
                • Experience with Kafka, Redis, Spring boot, Spring batch, REST Web services, NoSQL, Websockets, Complex Event Processing (CEP) with Apache Spark or Flink
                  • Financial knowledge and/or interest is highly preferred
