Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team for a Jira unification project. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for working on the Jira system to unify Jira entities in the backend. You should be capable of working through unknowns proactively and independently, and have experience in troubleshooting, such as reading logs and navigating Java code. This role requires expertise with databases, including AWS RDS and database change management.

responsibilities
  • Develop code for the Jira unification project, including writing efficient and scalable Java code
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
        • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
          • Design and implement database solutions
            • Manage database change management processes
              • Write and maintain technical documentation
                requirements
                • 3+ years of experience in Java Development, including experience with Spring Boot
                  • Expertise in AWS services, including RDS
                    • Proficiency in SQL programming and database change management
                      • Experience with Jira
                        • Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles
                          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
                            nice to have
                            • Experience with Atlassian products
                              • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
                                • Experience with front-end development technologies, such as React or Angular
