Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project in the retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Apache Maven. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software is of the highest quality and meets the required standards. responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Apache Maven
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the required standards and is of the highest quality
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
Deploy applications on Microsoft Azure and ensure that they are optimized for cloud platforms
Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure that the software is reliable and performs well
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure that the code is of the highest quality
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions to ensure that the software is stable and reliable

requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 8 and its features
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including developing RESTful APIs and microservices
Expertise in using Apache Maven for project building and dependency management
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, and knowledge of deploying applications on cloud platforms
Proficiency in using Git for version control and experience with Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
