We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working in the investment banking domain with a global leader in financial services. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients, leveraging your expertise in Java, Spring, and Microservice Architecture Patterns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance
Develop and maintain Microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring that they are scalable, resilient, and secure
Design and implement RESTful APIs to provide seamless integration between different software components
Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support data processing and reporting
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring that they are following best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is well-documented and maintainable

requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating expertise in Java 8 and Spring frameworks
Strong knowledge of Microservice Architecture Patterns and experience working with Spring Boot
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its services
In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and experience with Oracle RDBMS
Experience in developing and deploying applications in a production environment
Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

nice to have

Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices
